CLASS 6 OVERVIEW
We’ve all heard the term, hope isn’t a strategy.
But when it comes to looking to the future, many entrepreneurs often rely on exactly that.
We get it. Budgeting can be painful and frustrating. Which explains why ⅔ of entrepreneurs don’t engage with the budgeting process. But, without a budget, there’s no effective way to control cash flow which makes investing in new opportunities or planning for our long term growth and success nearly impossible.
An effective budget helps entrepreneurs pave a path to reaching their personal and entrepreneurial financial goals. When supported by cash flow projections, you can identify possible cash shortfalls, periods of cash surpluses, help your clients make decisions on increased or decreased spending, and see if and where additional financing could be needed.
In this class, we show you how to create a budget, project cash flow and set revenue projections and cost assumptions. So dust off that pencil and see how intuitive budgeting and forecasting can be and show your clients it can be fun, too!
You’ll learn:
- How to work with your clients to build a financial roadmap that connects both personal and business financial goals
- How to using budgets as a planning tool
- How to build a budget
- How to understand cash flow projections
- How to create cash flow projections.
What level of skill do I need?
The program is suited to new and seasoned advisors. The program is designed to help you understand the concepts and how to apply them to your advising services. The goal isn’t to turn you into a banker or an accountant and you do not need a background in accounting, finance, or be strong in math to succeed. You’ll see why once we get going!
